Jones, Managing Director, Hildebrandt, in “Understanding the Current Legal Economy” session on Wednesday, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Section Meetings NALP’s Section meeting times & places during the Annual Education Conference are available at: www.nalp.org/uploads/AEC_Section_meetings_09.pdf. NALP's Annual Conference Public Service Project: Helping Others Dress for Success! While packing your bags for NALP's conference in Washington, be sure to include some small items for NALP's Accessory Drive. Our 2009 service project is to make donations to two Washington, DC organizations (Suited for Change and MenzFit) which assist low-income individuals in the DC area by providing professional clothing, career development education, and life skills training. There are three ways to support our efforts this year: you can donate accessories, make a financial contribution, and/or volunteer to staff the donation table.
Stop by the accessory drive desk in the registration area with your donations on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during the conference. Tax receipts will be available for both accessory and financial donations. Bring Your Water Bottle As part of the greening of NALP conferences, bottled water will not be provided at conference breaks and meals. Water will be plentiful, however – just not the waste that disposable plastic bottles create. So don’t forget to pack your water bottle! Handouts FYI In an effort to go green, the conference planning team asked presenters to copy only handouts essential during presentations. All available handouts, as well as supplemental materials, will be posted in the member-only section of the NALP web site immediately after the conference. Attire Dress for the conference is business casual. As individual preferences on room temperature vary, we recommend that you dress in layers so that you can add or subtract a layer to maintain your own comfort.
