2009 Principles and Standards Changes - Background for Voting
Members Approve Changes to NALP Principles & Standards NALP members voted overwhelmingly to approve changes to the Timing Guidelines (Part V of NALP’s Principles & Standards) as well as changes to Parts I-IV of the Principles & Standards. 91% of those voting voted in favor of adopting the proposed changes to Part V, and 99% of those voting voted in favor of the proposed changes to Parts I-IV. Amongst school members, 94% voted in favor of the changes to Part V, and 98% voted in favor of the changes to Parts I-IV. Amongst employer members, 89% voted in favor of the changes to Part V, and 99% voted in favor of the changes to Parts I-IV.
