Judge for Yourself: Clarity, Choice, and Action in Your Legal Career
Edmund D. Cooke, Jr., 2006.

This book presents vignettes of lawyers grappling with various issues at different stages of their careers - from achieving work/life balance to deciding whether to change jobs to other shifts in career goals. Each vignette is followed by a discussion of how the issues might be resolved through a three-step process: clarity (deciding what you want to be different); choice (further evaluating where you are and how things might change and choosing an approach); and action. For many, the worksheets in the appendices that lead readers through their own assessment of these three steps will be the most valuable part of this book.
