YOUR ACCOUNT

If you are a member using this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use NALP’s bookstore only with involvement of a parent or guardian. NALP reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

NALP respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact NALP using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

RISK OF LOSS

All items purchased from NALP are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Claims for refunds due to non-delivery of a product must be made within 60 days of the date of order.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

NALP attempts to provide accurate product descriptions. However, NALP does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by NALP is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused, saleable condition for a refund.

PRICING

NALP reserves the right to change prices at any time.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. NALP does not provide currency conversion, but several Web sites provide this service. Orders placed on NALP will be charged in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the U.S., this charge is converted by your bank into your local currency and should appear on your credit card statement in that currency.

Member Discounts

NALP offers pricing discounts to NALP members and therefore both member and nonmember prices appear on the website. Member prices are available only to bona fide members of NALP, who access those prices through the use of a member ID and password.

Bulk Discounts

Bulk pricing for some items appear on the site. If there is no bulk pricing option listed and you are interested in purchasing copies in bulk, please contact the NALP office at 202-835-1001.

Shipping and Handling

Orders are usually shipped within two business days of receipt. Shipping charges are calculated online for shipments to the US and Canada only, and are based on the weight of the publications ordered. For shipping rates or options not specified, including all international shipments outside of North America, please contact NALP. NALP reserves the right to adjust or change shipping charges without notice.

International Shipping

NALP does not pay customs or duty on international shipping, including orders shipping to Canada.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

If you are dissatisfied with a product you purchase from NALP, you may return it with a copy of your order or invoice, in unused, saleable condition within 30 days to receive a refund.

Claims for refunds due to non-delivery of a product must be made within 60 days of the date of order.

SECURITY

NALP's web sites have reasonable security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control. These precautions include data encryption, firewall protection, and restricted server access. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. As you wish, you may place any order by telephone, though it is possible that different prices will apply.
