2023-2024 Nominating Information and Leadership Opportunities

NALP values and intentionally strives for a diverse leadership. It helps us to make better decisions, to produce better ideas and outcomes, and generally to lead better. I WANT TO NOMINATE SOMEONE

Step 1: Consider the Options

• Positions available in 2023-2024 include President-Elect, Vice-President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Vice-President for Member Services and Education, Director, Regional Representative, Nominating Committee Member and/or Conference Planning Coordinator.

• Learn more about the available positions here.

Step 2: Complete the nomination form

• Complete the on-line nomination form (once for each nominee)
  or
  
• E-mail the nominee name(s), institutional affiliation, and the position(s) for which you are nominating them to [email protected].

Step 3: Meet the deadline

• The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, November 17, 2023.

Step 4: Support your nominee(s)

• Reach out to the people you nominated and encourage them to accept their nomination.

• Take a minute to recognize the leadership potential that your colleagues see in you or that you see in yourself!
  

Step 2: Consider the Options

• Positions available in 2023-2024 include President-Elect, Vice-President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Vice-President for Member Services and Education, Director, Regional Representative, Nominating Committee Member and/or Conference Planning Coordinator.
  
  
• Attend the Webinar:  Pathways to NALP Leadership: An Overview of the Nominating Process on Wednesday November 1 at 2:00 pm ET and learn how you can become engaged in NALP professional development and leadership opportunities (The Webinar will be recorded and available here after November 1.)
  
  
• Learn more about the available positions here.

Step 3: Prepare

• Review what you need to submit well in advance of the deadline — some of the items may take some thought to prepare. 
  

Step 4: Complete the Application Requirements

• Complete the on-line application and attach the requested documents using the on-line application system.

Step 5: Meet the Deadline

• Deadline to complete the on-line application and submit your materials is Thursday, January 4, 2024.
