Accelerating Transformation: Leading Effective Change Initiatives
Join the Change Management Task Force on November 13, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET for a webinar focused on successfully leading change initiatives. Change is inevitable but managing it effectively can be challenging. If you've participated in a change initiative that fell short of expectations, you're not alone-only 30% of these efforts succeed. However, there are proven strategies that can significantly enhance your chances of success. In this webinar, we'll guide you through an 8-step framework inspired by John Kotter's influential work, "Leading Change: Why Transformation Efforts Fail," as published by Harvard Business Review. We'll draw on real examples from recent transformations within our profession to provide actionable insights for driving impactful change in your organization. Following the training, we will break into small groups to discuss reflections on change management successes and challenges.

Recalculating: Navigate Your Career Through the Changing World of Work
Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1:45 - 3:00 pm at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland
We are living in times of great upheaval in the workplace. Even if the pandemic did not lead you to a major transition, you've likely made readjustments and pivots to keep up with the rapid pace of change in the world today. This is no doubt a challenge, but it's also an opportunity. That is the message of New York Times bestselling author Lindsey Pollak's timely, inspirational and action-oriented presentation based on her book, Recalculating.
With her signature combination of engaging storytelling, data-driven insights and immediately applicable advice, Lindsey provides a step-by-step roadmap to achieve the professional results you most desire such as embracing the need to frequently pivot and recalculate to thrive; learning how to adopt a growth mindset to take small, daily actions to build skills and relationships; clarifying your top priorities in a changing landscape; and developing a "personal advisory board" to support on-going success.
Presenter: Lindsey Pollak, Career and Workplace Expert
