NALP is currently conducting surveys of both law schools and legal employers on 2021 recruiting. The results of these surveys will be published in NALP's Perspectives on 2021 Law Student Recruiting in early 2022. Your participation will help to ensure a comprehensive report with important benchmarking information on recruiting and summer program outcomes. More information about each survey is available below.

Survey of Law Schools on 2021 Recruiting

The Survey of Law Schools on 2021 Recruiting is now open through Friday, November 12. A PDF version of the survey is available here to assist in compiling your data; however, all survey information must be submitted via this online survey.

Survey of Legal Employers on 2021 Recruiting

The Survey of Legal Employers on 2021 Recruiting is now open through Friday, November 12. This survey is intended for any offices that hosted a summer program in 2021 and/or recruited 2Ls for a 2022 summer associate position or 3Ls for associate positions during summer/fall 2021. A PDF version of the survey is available here to assist in compiling your data; however, all survey information must be submitted via this online survey. Data on lateral hiring will be collected in a separate survey in early 2022.

NALP 2022 Recruiting Summit

If you plan to register for NALP's 2022 Legal Recruiting Summit on Thursday, January 27 completion of your respective survey is required for attendance. The Legal Recruiting Summit will include a first look at the data from these fall recruiting surveys. Registration will open soon.
