It is clear that for the foreseeable future, legal master’s programs for non-lawyers (non LLM master’s degree programs) will make up an increasing portion of the portfolio of work for many law schools. As programs have grown in size and number, there is a desire for networking, resource sharing, and the development of best practices among the professionals who provide career services to these graduate students – professionals who may or may not be staff members of the law school career development office. This interest group is designed to bring together those working in this space to facilitate collaboration and support for one another and to share learning and best practices with one another and the rest of the NALP community.
